Moss & Ash is a substantial statement necklace combining large mossy green serpentine beads with the rugged texture of black lava stone. The serpentine beads feature distinctive pale, irregular striations across deep green surfaces, giving each stone an individual, naturally weathered appearance.
At the centre sits an ornate 20 mm Tibetan silver-style focal bead, with smaller silver-tone spacer beads introducing flashes of brightness between the darker stones.
Strung on memory wire, the necklace naturally holds its rounded collar shape and has a pleasing weight and substantial feel. Its character changes surprisingly easily with what it is worn with: paired with simple linen or a T-shirt it feels earthy and relaxed, while against darker, more refined clothing the bold stones and silver-tone detailing give it a more dramatic, elegant presence.

About the Stones
Serpentine is a group of magnesium-rich silicate minerals commonly found in shades of green, often with mottled, veined or fibrous-looking patterns. Some material sold under trade names such as “Green Zebra Jasper” is actually serpentine rather than jasper.
Black lava stone is a volcanic rock formed when molten lava cools and solidifies. Trapped gas bubbles leave behind the small cavities responsible for its characteristic porous surface. Because of this naturally vesicular structure, some beads have larger pits, cavities or irregular areas where the porous rock reaches the surface. These may sometimes appear slightly chipped, but are a natural characteristic of the material rather than damage.
Care
Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing and store separately to protect the stones and metal components.
